Description

Read this part before anything else: the power unit is sold separately. Jane Wonda is the electrode-equipped ball set, not a self-contained device, and it is the detail that turns a good purchase into a returned one. Mystim’s own specification lists it plainly as requiring an electrical device.

What it is: a geisha-ball duo with conductive baffles built into the balls, made to deliver electrical stimulation to the pelvic floor rather than working through weight alone. A Mystim plug connects the balls to a compatible Mystim power unit, and that unit is what generates and controls the current — intensity and pace are set there, not on the balls themselves.

The set runs 19.6 cm in length with a diameter of 3.3 cm and weighs 84 grams. The balls are 100% encased in medical-grade silicone, waterproof, and cleaned like any other silicone piece: warm water, mild soap. There is a rotating ball inside, which is close to silent in use. Twelve-month warranty.

Without a power unit it still works as a weighted set with that rotating internal ball, which is a real thing to own but not what you are paying for here. If you are starting an e-stim setup from nothing, treat the power unit as a second purchase to budget for, not an accessory to pick up later.

Electrical stimulation carries a fixed set of cautions and they are not boilerplate: not for use with a pacemaker or any implanted electronic device, not with epilepsy or a seizure disorder, and not during pregnancy. If any of those apply, or you are not certain, that is a question for a doctor rather than a risk to take.

Not for you if you do not already own a compatible Mystim power unit and are not prepared to buy one — the balls on their own will not do the thing the product exists to do. Also not for you if you have a pacemaker or implanted device, a seizure disorder, or are pregnant. And if you are new to pelvic floor training and simply want to get started, weighted-only balls like the Je Joue Ami sets in this category are the more sensible first purchase; e-stim is a direction to go in later, not a starting point.
