Description
The honest version of using kegel balls is far less eventful than the packaging suggests. You put one in, you get on with your morning, and for the most part you forget about it.
Ami 1, the lightest of the three at 47 grams, is the one most people spend the first few weeks with. It is small enough to wear through a walk, a load of laundry or a couple of hours at a desk without occupying your attention. Ami 2 at 78 grams and Ami 3 at 106 grams are there for when holding the first one has stopped registering as effort at all.
Fifteen to thirty minutes at a time is a reasonable place to start, rather than all day from day one. The muscle does the work in short, repeated doses, the same way any other muscle does, and there is no prize for wearing it longer. An ergonomic retrieval loop sits at the base for removal.
All three weights are 100% body-safe silicone over a weighted core, washed with warm water and a mild soap. Girth runs from 4.3 inches down to 3.6 inches as the weight climbs, with 3.5 inches insertable. Vegan.
This purple set is identical in weight, size and material to the fuchsia and black.
Not for you if you were hoping to wear these to the gym. Kegel balls are meant for still or low-movement wear, and no manufacturer guidance covers running, jumping or lifting — the marketing images of women doing yoga are doing you no favours. They are also not for you right now if you have an active pelvic or vaginal infection, are pregnant, or have been told to avoid weighted vaginal training for a reason specific to you.
